Avalanche course AST 2, this course is focused on those who have completed an AST1 or equivalent. In order to be able to access, you will have to pass a test type test with the minimum knowledge to be able to take advantage of the course, besides presenting a curriculum with experience in winter mountain.
Goals
- Apply PAB in planning and carrying out an itinerary.
- Recognize instability in the mantle with observations and tests.
- Use risk reduction protocols by drawing safe routes.
- Analyze the Snow Mantle.
- Interpret annotations of: (hardness, grain types and tests).
- Identify human factors contributing to accident rate.
- Carry out a complete and efficient multi-victim rescue.
Accommodation and meals
